ADK High Peak – Sawteeth
February 16, 2018 - February 18, 2018
Sawteeth is #35 in height at 4,100 feet. We will hike in from the Ausable Lake Road. Round trip distance 14 miles, elevation gain 3,000′. We will have an orientation and safety meeting at the Brookside Motor Inn in Upper Jay Friday evening at 9:00 p.m. Pre-dawn start at the trailhead. We will have a pot-luck dinner Saturday evening at the Brookside. Lumberjack breakfast Sunday morning with possible half day ski or hike. Accommodations at Brookside about $60 each for two nights.
